Jeans
Jeans are classic; they go with almost anything and any style. The best thing about jeans is that any shape and size can look good in jeans – you just have to find the right fit for you. Finding the right jeans for your figure and keeping stylish at the same time is easy. The best thing is that you can dress your jeans up or down with different tops and accessories.
While bell-bottoms and wide leg pants and jeans are making a huge comeback, they may not suit every figure. Both high and low-waist flared jeans are in style for 2011 and the style is actually different than the 90’s bell-bottoms comeback. One thing that is different is that the jeans or pants should be loose around the knee. Another tip for this style is that the hem should be at least as wide as your foot.
If you are a plus-size and want to flatter your curves with jeans that can go from day to night, try slightly relaxed jeggings. As opposed to the skin-tight version, this will flatter you in all the right places. Also opt for a darker wash, which will you slim you down, and large pockets that will help flatter plus-sizes.
Boot-cut and bell-bottom jeans are also a nice option as they offer a good balance from top to bottom. Boot-cut jeans are generally great for pear shaped women, who have smaller waists and bigger hips and thighs for the same reason. Also a good option for pear shapes is high waist jeans, as they accentuate smaller waist lines. Also, less stitching is better for pear shapes, which will help create a more proportionate look.
If you are on the short side, then try to make sure your jeans skim the ground. The extra length of the jeans will give an impression of more elongated legs. Extra wide leg jeans may not flatter you, as all the extra material will swallow your small frame.
